| Lead time on custom tools is not "next day". It frequently takes several weeks with many emails back and forth before all
the details are gone over and I have a thorough understanding of what the customer wants (blade profile and cross sections, what woods
the tool will be used to cut which determines the bevels and heat treatment, handle size and type of wood, etc.). While I enjoy the
challenge of making custom tools, they are quite expensive because they take so long to make and everything else in the shop has to
